Gordon Kent is the owner of New England Tennis Camp and directs the tennis program and all camp activities for the entire summer.

Gordon brings to NETC over 25 years of teaching experience with every level of junior player from beginner through tournament competitor.  He has established a reputation as one of the finest coaches in the East where his All-City Junior Programs have attracted hundreds of New York area juniors.

Gordon is a Past President of the USPTA - Eastern Division and has served on the Executive Committee of the USPTA.  He has received the "Pro of the Year" award from both the USPTA - Eastern Division (1992) and from the USPTR - Eastern Division (1989).  In 1986 Gordon received the USTA / USPTR "Public Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to Tennis Development".  He has served on the USTA - Eastern Junior Competition Committee and was chairman of the committee from 1993-95.  Gordon has also served on the Management Committee of USTA - Eastern.

Since coming to New York from California in 1974, Gordon has been a mainstay of junior tennis in New York City.  His All-City Junior Tennis Programs are based at the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club where over 300 juniors participate in after school and weekend programs.  (Go to the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club and the All-City Junior Tennis Program Web Site)

Other staff members at New England Tennis Camp include full-time tennis professionals and college students.  All are carefully chosen for their coaching ability and their character.
